Olakunle Churchill Bags Enugu Chieftaincy Title

 The city of Enugu State came alive on Saturday, 14th April as the paramount ruler, HRH Igwe Dr. Emmanuel Ugwu (Eze Okwe 1 Of Okwe Kingdom, Ibagwa Nike, Enugu East LGA) decorated the chairman of Big Church Group, Dr. Olakunle Churchill with a prominent chieftaincy title " Ezinwa Chukwu Mere Eze 1" in an ofalla ceremony that attracted high profile personalities, royal fathers and emirs from different parts of the country.


The 3-day event  marked the Ofalla festival of the UN Mayor King, which had the presence Chairman of Police service Commission, Dr. Mike Okiro, Senators, Enugu House of Reps members, South African Royal Council, Kenya Royal fathers, Emir of Keffi, Emir of Kwara, and other notable Igbo Kings. The celebration was greatly rich in culture which cuts across different ethnicity and diversity with presence of high profile media organisations like Channels, NTAI International, Pulse NG, Vanguard, Nairaland, Linda Ikeji, AlexReports etc.

Churchill's chieftaincy conferment was in recognition of his devotion to the upliftment of humanity, philanthropy activities and 36,000 youth empowerment project across the country in E- Agric toward redefining the operation feed the nation concept. The Title, Ezinwa Chukwu Mere Eze which is interpreted as "A Good Son That God Crowned As King" is regarded as a unique title for distinguished individual who have impacted so much and have proved himself worthy to wine and dine with elders.

During the coronation, Dr. Churchill acknowledged selected persons for their role in making the title a reality. Among them are Amb. Rachel Bakam and Dr.Danbazzau
